Is the weldstar wheel a true multi piece wheel? If so would using the 791B-510206 15x10 with 3.5" BS yield you a 6.5" lip on the front side or if you had used a 791B-512206 15x12 with 3.5" yield a 8.5" lip?
Thanks

The RT series wheels are multi-piece wheels; however, the inner and outer rim shells used to make each wheel are a bit deceptive taking into consideration the depth of the RT center.
What specs are you looking for in the WeldStar RT?

I am looking at those two specs for a 1966 mustang that is mini-tubbed. I will be shortening my axle appropriately. I want to know how deep the dish will be with those two wheels I specified with a 3.5" backspace. Thanks

The 15x10 RT (3.5BS) would use a 5.25" outer rim half and the 15x12 RT (3.5BS) would use a 7.25" outer rim half. To achieve the 3.5BS on a RT wheel, the inner rim shell used is 4.625".

So when you say 5.25" and 7.25" outer rim half that is the measurement of the polished lip from the edge going inwards to the face of the wheel. Basically thats how far the face is inset towards the axle? Like a deep dish barrel.

The WeldStar RT can be purchased from Performance Plus in Long Beach, Discount Tire, or any other Weld Racing distributor. It appears that we do not have a wheel display within your area that contains this wheel. We are working to correct that at this time.

This polished Weldstar RT looks like a 2.25" outer shell.

This black Weldstar RT looks like a 4.25" outer shell.
Hope this helps.
