front rim caliper clearence

between the aluma star 2.0 with a 1.75bs and the weldstar RT with a 1.50bs which rim has more caliper clearence?

i currently have a set of magnum fronts with a 1.75bs that clear the calipers. looking to get the 5 stars.

also are hub rings necessary with front runners or rear rims using shank lug nuts?

The RT has more caliper clearance but if your Magnums clear now then new Alumastars will clear also.
We do not use hub rings on our products. They are designed to be centered by the lug holes. So I would balance them accordingly.
