What do you torque bead lock rings on American Trakstar 480L6167350D to? These are the bead lock lites with the grey anodized rings.

What is the sequence? Last I saw on old website was cross for the 1st four and then circular going around the rim a little at a time. Is that still true? Are there instructions somewhere in the catalog or on the website?

Does 22 ft lbs apply to the new American Racing Pro Series Lites with the polished wider rings? 25 for the centers?

We show torque specs to be 18 to 22 ft lbs on the beadlock rings and 20 ft. lbs on the centers.
Thanks

Thanks

I just bought my first set of Weld Magnum Drag double bead lock wheels this week. I called the office inquiring about the proper installation method of the rings, and was sent what looks to be a NEW instruction set written in 2010. NOTE: that the file in the website link you provided above dates back several years (it may even be back in the old Weld Racing Company before it went under?), but more importantly, these "older" instructions are significantly different than the one I was sent with regard to criss-cross vs sequential torquing pattern.

Can you guys please eliminate the confusion and advise what is the best way to do it. With what these wheels cost, the last thing I need is to damage the rings!

Thank you.

The 2010 document is the best resource. It provides better detail for installation and torque maintenance.
