Why no 16x10" alumastar? The ideal tire size for me is 315/45/16. Next 15" is quite a bit taller.

What back spacing are you looking for and for what vehicle? We can offer a 16x11 and 16x12 for nostalgia dragsters in limited back spacings.

Its a rwd conversion so I can make anything fit, but what Id like is a 16x10 with a 5 1/2 to 6" BS. Im not tubbing the car so a 12-15" rim wont work.

What car? Will it be used on the drag strip only or street and strip use?

1987 T-Type Lesabre. bolt pattern will be 5x4.75. 75% street/25% strip. I know the alumastars arent dot legal but Ive seen many on street cars and if they're sfi spec, then surly they are strong enough for street too.

The AlumaStars do exceed SFI standards for drag racing purposes, but never intended for street use of any kind. This wheel is designed and tested to go straight down the drag strip. The wheel was never designed to withstand the excessive amounts of lateral forces applied to a wheel during street driving.
Weld Racing LLC will be releasing new street/strip rated wheels in the next couple of months that will be available in 15", 17", and 18" diameters. The initial release will offer a 5-spoke star wheel called the GS-5 which will offer you a better application wheel for its intended use.
