I own two Mustangs,2001 Bullitt and a 1985 LX coupe.
Both have the Cobra sized brakes. I have a pair of the Weld Draglites, the ones with the holes, in 15x9 size with drag radials, for strip and street use.
It would be nice to have the matching style wheel in a 17x4.5 size,to use narrow drag front tires, and clear the Cobra brakes.
There is a tremendous need for affordable 17 inch narrow front wheels,in the Mustang community. $500 buck race only fronts just don't cut it!
Hope you would consider this soon.....Please.
You can use my spotless 1985 LX coupe, equipped with a Dart 427 stroker, for test fitment!

Let's see now....pick up a pair of Mustang 2007-2009 aluminum 17x4 spares.
Cut out the center section. Machine up new Weld look-a-like centers, and weld them up!!

Weld will be debuting a new street/strip product line at PRI this week in Orlando that will provide a wheel for your needs.

Any chance these new wheels will be added to the website soon? I'm looking for 17" Draglite or Draglite XP's for my Chevelle!!

None of the new 17" styles will be a Draglite, ProStar, or Rodlite. The new products will resemble the RT series styles.
